The 74th annual Golden Globe Awards nominations were revealed on Monday morning (Dec. 12) with past winners Don Cheadle and Laura Dern and nominee Anna Kendrick doing the honors from the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles. Among the early leaders on TV were The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story, which had five nominations, and The Night Manager with four. In the movie field, movie musical La La Land leads all film nominees with seven nods, edging out the acclaimed drama Moonlight, which had six.

The awards, voted on by the members of the Hollywood Foreign Press ***ociation, will be handed out live on NBC on Jan. 8, 2017, led by The Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon. Twenty-nine-time nominee and eight-time winner Meryl Streep, who is nominated for her role in Florence Foster Jenkins (which seized a total of four nominations), will be presented with the Cecil B. DeMille Award.
