Jesus Montero hitting seventh tonight

I’m shocked, but Joel Sherman has the news. Jesus Montero will make his debut tonight hitting seventh as a DH.

Against the Red Sox. In September.

Unreal. Tonight’s game just got a heck of a lot more entertaining. (As if it needed anymore attention.)

That was the wrong thing to do. Jesus looked totally over-matched and over-whelmed. Nothing against him - you just don't put a rookie inthat position. He came up in some crucial situations and was unable to come through. You use Posada from the right side in that game. At least Jesus started hitting the ball a little bit as he got a few more at bads, but his swing was awful. Too much, too fast.
