Why would the Yankees drop Rafael Soriano from the setup man role after one poor month (not even)?
For relievers, one terrible outing ruins a season ERA. Because of his April 5 performance, or lack thereof, Soriano can only give up three more earned runs over his next 50-plus innings if he wants to match his 2010 numbers.
The Yankees owe Soriano $35 million over the next three years (if he decides to stay).
