Well, our dreams nightmares came true. FoxSports.com’s Jon Morosi says the Yankees have signed Bartolo Colon to a minor-league contract.
NY Post’s Joel Sherman adds the Yankees have invited him to spring training and he’ll earn $900,000 if he makes the team.
Colon was playing for Yankees bench coach Tony Pena in the Dominican Republic and I take it he like what he saw.
Who knows, maybe he can return to Cy Young form.
