Phil Hughes, Joba Chamberlain and Boone Logan avoided arbitration with the Yankees today, all agreeing to one-year deals.
Hughes: $2.7 million
Chamberlain: $1.4 million
Logan: $1.2 million
I wouldn’t take too much from this info, but if anything at all, it could help verify that the Yankees will keep Chamberlain in the bullpen this season. Join the big discussion on that debate here.
This info helps round out the Yankees’ total payroll for 2011. I’ll have more on that when it all gets finalized before the season.
