Reports surfaced last night that Mariano Rivera withdrew from this year’s All-Star game due to a pair of injuries. This was confirmed today with an official announcement from MLB, saying Rafael Soriano will be his replacement.
Oh well. Looks like Mo won’t be pitching the ninth after all.
