Video: Denzel Washington on The Jay Leno Show

I didn't catch it live, but above is Denzel Washington's clip on "The Jay Leno Show" with CC Sabathia Thursday night. The two duked it out over some Yankees trivia, and Denzel showed he "knows his Yankees."

You have to wonder if the first few questions were staged (he's a great actor), but I doubt it. If you watch the video, he gets the first three questions with ease and goes on to beat CC 4-2. I saw this as a great opportunity to talk about my love for Denzel. He is by far my favorite actor. I LOVED him in:

1. Remember the Titans
2. The Hurricane
3. John Q
4. The Great Debaters
5. Inside Man
6. American Gangster
7. Man on Fire

It's sad I haven't seen "Training Day" yet, but I plan on watching it along with "The Taking of Pelham 1, 2, 3" and "Malcolm X."

I'm not kidding when I say he made me cry in my top three movies listed - sobbing in John Q especially.

So not only is he a great actor, but also a Yankees fan?
