Mostly everyone thought the Tigers had the AL Central wrapped up going into last weekend. Instead, they split a four-game series with the Twins, and now Minnesota is hosting the one-game playoff on Tuesday.
The majority of fans voted that they’d rather face the Twins in the ALDS over the Tigers. I voted with the majority, but now I get the feeling that they are the hotter team heading into the postseason and they could be the tougher team to beat.
However, the Yankees were great against both teams during the regular season, so it may not even matter. Either way, it will be exciting with the Yankees finally back to October baseball.
