August in Review:
A seven-game winning streak — including a four-game sweep of the Red Sox — after losing the first game of the month kept them right where they left off in July. But the wins wouldn’t stop. After one loss to the Blue Jays, a five-game winning streak began. They beat the Red Sox again (two out of three), but then finally lost a series to the Rangers (two out of three). However, a four-game winning streak was the perfect way to finish the month.
