Red Sox still have a better rotation. I'd take Beckett, Lester, Dice-K, Smoltz, Penny, and Wakefield over that anyday. C.C. chokes in big games, Burnett is injury prone as well as Wang, and high eras all around. And Joba has a SMALL DICK!
I don't think C.C. choked when he brought the Brewers to the playoffs last year pitching a one-run complete game on three days rest against the Cubs...
Wang injury prone? More like, one time he hurt himself running the bases in inter-league play...
I sure like Burnett's near 5 era last year, as well as his temperamental attitude. He and the yankees are a perfect fit!!! haha. And by the way, the grand slam cc gave up to victorino in game one of nlds wasn't exactly what I call clutch. The game you are referring to was before the postseason. Cmon lenny, get your stuff together.
Like I said, the game that C.C. pitched "brought the Brewers to the playoffs." And the grand slam he gave up might have been because he had just pitched his 3rd consecutive game on 3 days rest...he's very durable but he isn't God either...
And by near 5 era for Burnett, you meant 4.07??? Sorry for coming off rude, but if your going to downgrade my blog, you might wanna "get your stuff together" first.
4.07 is worth 90 mil? I think not. And stop making excuses for cc. he peformed poorly in the 2007 postseason as well. he is not a good postseason player. he chokes, just like a-fraud. for the highest payroll in baseball, your precious yankees are pathetic. the red sox will easily win the american league east. everytime the yankees try to outspend other teams, and overpay for players, they never get the job done. this year will be no different. you can't just spend to make it to the world series. ask the tampa bay rays.

A.J. is the injury prone one.
However, in his last four years he's averaged 28 starts per year. I'm happy with that.
